The Center for Counseling Services opened its doors in March 2003 to provide services to the community in an atmosphere of hope, compassion and empathy. As family therapists and counselors we recognize the importance of relationships. The Center offers counseling and therapy to individuals, couples and families, while ensuring those who enter the Center’s doors feel safe, honored and respected.
The Center’s staff is sensitive to the effects that traumatic events and developmental trauma have on children, adolescents and adults. Using a trauma informed approach, we believe that regardless of history, with the right setting and in the right relationship, healing is always possible.
The Center values and recognizes the need to partner with other health care professionals, including school counselors and private practitioners. We continue to pursue our commitment to healthy families, healthy communities and greater successes for children, adolescents and adults.
Often school districts, colleges and other organizations request training and consultation from members of the Center’s staff. We are available to discuss arrangements focused on the needs of your organization.
